After verbally abusing and beating her unconscious, Cobus de Klerk begged Siyamthanda Dube not to go to the police. "What are you going to tell them? You've got nothing but your black ass." She refused to be intimidated, and justice was served.
After several grueling days of testifying in court, and bravely standing up to nasty lies and accusations, Izwi member Siyamthanda Dube has won the case of assault against her employer. He was sentenced with 6 months in prison or a large fine.
